About
"All of us struggle with changes and challenges in our lives. My goal as a therapist is to provide encouragement and hope to my clients and to empower them with practical tools and techniques that facilitate positive growth. I communicate empathy and respect to my clients as well as a good sense of humor. I believe that much of our personal healing results from just feeling accepted and having someone who truly listens and seeks to understand. I encourage my clients to take responsibility for their thoughts, feelings, and actions and to be proactive rather than reactive."
I work with adults age 18 and older (individuals and couples) who are dealing with stress and anxiety, depression, life transition, relationship issues, self-esteem, and other life issues. I believe that personal awareness is key to long lasting changes. I encourage my clients to challenge unhealthy thoughts and behavior patterns.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with an honest and direct approach to my clients. I believe that therapy is a healing and life changing experience that is beneficial for everyone.
