I am a trauma informed clinician experienced in serving various populations experiencing chronic stress and trauma. I have worked in various levels of care, in service of minors, adults, families am systems. I am certified in Natural Flow EMDR, trained in Somatic embodiment and mindfulness practices, and experienced with ACT, DBT, CBT/TFCBT, and IFS. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist Associate (LCAS-A), and a Registered Dance Movement Therapist (R-DMT) in NC. I completed a MA Degree in Transpersonal Counseling Psychology, and a MA Certificate in Dance/Movement Therapy
I have over twenty years of experience in the human services field. I apply a developmental and attachment based lens in working to build trust and rapport, which research tells us is a cornerstone to the collaborative nature of the therapeutic relationship. I believe that when we are harmed in relationship we have the opportunity to heal in relationship.
I believe that we are invited to dive into our depths, explore the pearls of wisdom contained there, and bring them to the surface for ourselves and others. I am passionate about co-creating an alchemical collaboration, in support of empowerment and in service to the individual and systemic transformation.
