My name is Rhianna French, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor, and Nationally Certified Counselor. I have training in many different approaches and techniques to service clients in unique ways that best fit their unique concerns and personalities. I take an eclectic approach to counseling, matching various approaches and theories to every client's specific needs. I often utilize humanistic approaches, which focus on each person's uniqueness and potential.
I serve a wide range of clients. My specialties are Trauma, Severe Mental Illness, self-harm, Suicidal clients, Survivors of various types of abuse and neglect, Addiction, Depression, Anxiety, Sex, and Attachment. I have experience working in outpatient, crisis stabilization, and inpatient treatment (both residential and hospital settings).
I am very laid back and open. The environment I create is a place where people feel just as comfortable telling me about how their day went as they do telling me about the darkest times of their lives. I also have a sense of humor and don't take life too seriously.
