I am honored to be present with you to help guide you through the process of self-discovery and change. Change is both challenging and possible, and I welcome you into my practice as you begin your journey, taking steps of positive action to achieve your goals.
I work with clients primarily using client centered therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoeducation, and mindful self-awareness. I enjoy working with college students, young and middle-aged adults, and teachers. Issues frequently addressed are depression, anxiety, work related stress, complex trauma, grief and loss, and life transitions.
I received a Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling from Angelo State University in 1990, and I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 1993. I am a wife, mother, grandmother, and pet lover! I bring a wealth of life experience into my counseling practice, and I welcome the opportunity to work with you.
