About
Are you having a difficult time finding meaningful relationships, struggling with self-esteem or self love? Do you feel like you excel professionally but personally, you never seem to feel like you are enough? You may be experiencing depression, anxiety, unexplained physical problems, or feeling like you can't seem be able to set or attain goals? Or perhaps, you would you like to understand how lived trauma and/or generational trauma may be affecting you?
As an immigrant from Central America, I am all too familiar with the cultural and sociological challenges that can consume our daily lives. I also recognize that simply seeking therapy can be viewed as weakness or frailty. However, I believe the ability to discard those misguided myths and seek help shows readiness to start the healing process.
Having a solid connection with your therapist is fundamental to growth through the therapeutic process. I have more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field, and I believe one of my strengths is my ability to connect with my clients. I am a culturally competent and a trauma informed therapist.
