I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Vocational Nurse, and a Chaplain. I graduated with a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. I have special training treating (PTSD) Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, depression and anxiety using (EMDR) Eye-Movement Desensitization Reprocessing. I also trained in London, England with the experts in "Solution Focus Therapy". I keep abreast of the latest research on the brain and weave this evidence-based research into my therapy practice. I has been exposed to many different cultures within the US, and appreciate their unique strengths.
Research tells us, how to communicate more effectively, what really works to lower depression and anxiety so we can become more "emotional intelligent", and in order to become more successful in our personal relationships and in the workplace. Research is revealing new things about depression, managing anger, anxiety, and what can we do to be happy.
