The world is a bit nuts. Sometimes, it's not you; it's them. Maybe you're feeling misunderstood. Maybe a trauma led to feeling distress. Maybe it's not an event but how you experience it. Maybe you want meaning and purpose. Any of those are painful; they lead to self-doubt, distraction, depression, anxiety, stress, insomnia, feelings of loss, shame, and that you’re adrift. I've felt these feelings before and it's no fun. You deserve contentment now. I have lots of tools to help with this, but ultimately, I simply listen with an open mind, compassion and curiosity. Most of my work is with men and men's issues, but I see all genders.
I listen because I believe we are our stories. Your story about yourself has power. I’ll listen and challenge you with kindness, respect, honesty, patience, and humor. When you’re ready, we'll use mindfulness, narrative therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (if needed).
