When everything is in proper order and balanced, healing unfolds naturally. However, we do not exist in a vacuum. Life can impact us in profound ways. We may at times feel stuck, overwhelmed, or hopeless. Sometimes we cannot see the “elephant in the room” because it all looks gray, something blocks our view, we thought it was “normal”, or believed we were the “problem”. When we pinpoint the source of distress and enhance the tools under our belt, we have increased capacity for positive change. Through the therapeutic process, I strive to help others with self-discovery, personal growth, and increased quality of life.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and Art Therapist (ATR-BC) with over 15 years of providing clinical psychotherapy to all ages and a wide range of presenting concerns. I also have specialized training in trauma treatment including integrative and holistic approaches. I often incorporate CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and EMDR into my practice.
I believe strongly in the power of the creative process for healing. My diverse experience has allowed me to witness transformation on many levels and guided me in providing an individualized, holistic, person-centered, and culturally sensitive treatment approach.

I use an eclectic and trauma-informed approach drawing upon a variety of therapeutic tools and modalities. Art therapy offers an opportunity to engage both the mind and body, express thoughts and emotions that are difficult to convey with words alone, actively apply skills in the moment such as problem-solving, flexibility, self-regulation, and more.
