As a clinician, I believe we all possess resilience. Clients who decide to work with me may be having difficulty navigating their spiritual journey, stress, past trauma and current trauma responses, ADHD, anger management, anxiety, depression, family relationships, grief/bereavement, life transitions, medical issues/physical health, and intimate/romantic relationships. Everything I do, I do with authenticity and thus clients must be open to being their authentic self, open to feedback and think beyond what is in front of you.
I call myself the 'reality' therapist because I believe in keeping things authentic to help clients overcome barriers. My therapeutic approach is eclectic, utilizing mindfulness, CBT, Gestalt, and reality therapy. Our relationship will be based on authenticity, open communication, and a partnership to build on the skills you already possess.
As a Baltimore native, I have dedicated much of my time to building up my community through mental health education. Strength and power lies within the ability to push past your fears.
