Welcome to my PT page. With 1300 hours completed, as a Resident in Counseling with a background in Recreational Therapy and Therapeutic Horsemanship, I am eager to continue serving the community through active listening and genuine connection. I am pleased to offer additional services, including Equine Assisted Psychotherapy and Equine Assisted Learning, as well as time in nature, where you can observe the herd while sharing your struggles, here at the farm. The office also meets ADA accessibility standards. The therapeutic alliance is a crucial component of this work and the first step in finding your answers within!
With a foundation in Recreational Therapy in inpatient physical medicine and rehabilitation, I see myself as a helper and have dedicated my life to service. Active listening with empathy and true connection are the assets I bring to the therapy session.
Walking and Talking sessions around the farm are a popular option. Playing a game, building a puzzle, while engaging in conversation are also options to soften the counseling approach. I believe my unique foundation in Recreational Therapy is an asset to my counseling approach. The office is accessible for wheelchairs, walkers, and other assistive devices.
