Congrats! This is the first step in your journey to healing; you've done the hard part, now breathe! Counseling is a collaborative process, and you, the client, are a full partner in this relationship. I specialize in working with humans (I especially love working with children, teens, young adults); I work with individuals who face the following challenges: ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, borderline personality disorder, and LGBTQ+ community, and much more. If I am unsure about anything, I will check for understanding with you, the client. I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to help you live in the present and possibly use mindfulness, a tool to help you reduce stress.
