Most families call us about a teenager. The worry that won't switch off, the door that stays closed, the kid who used to laugh more. Renew is a team of six counselors in Longview built around exactly that: teen counseling, parent support, and family work, plus EMDR, play therapy, and counseling for adults who need their own space to talk. We match you with the right counselor, not just the next opening, and we'll tell you honestly if we're not the right fit. Sessions run $45–$115 with evening and Saturday times, so help fits real life. Start with a free 15-minute Fit Call — no forms, no pressure, just a conversation.
Our Team
Is your teenager suddenly a stranger in your own home? Slammed doors, one-word answers, and a distance that keeps growing no matter what you try? You're not imagining it, and you're not failing as a parent. Adolescence changes the relationship, but with the right support, it doesn't have to break it.
I'm Justin Robinson, LPC-S, and for the past 14 years I've walked alongside hundreds of families in Longview and East Texas through exactly this; anxiety, trauma, anger, self-harm, and the kind of parent-child conflict that turns home into a minefield.

Seeking help is one of the best decisions a person can make for themselves. No one should go through the hardships of life on their own. Everyone needs and appreciates a nonjudgemental and unbiased listening ear. The support and guidance that comes from the nature of counseling is something that everyone desires and deserves. We all have a story and experiences that mold us into who we are. It can feel jumbled and chaotic at times. The benefits of counseling are invaluable and life changing. Allow me to help you walk through the highs and lows. Let's confront the struggles and celebrate the growth along the way.

I became a counselor because I grew up in communities shaped by trauma, systemic disadvantage, and limited access to mental health resources. I saw how silence, stigma, and generational patterns often kept people trapped in survival rather than healing. I created a space where vulnerability is met with safety and compassion instead of judgments. I combine trauma-informed care, nervous system and polyvagal education, attachment work, and other tools to help clients understand themselves, recognize their strengths, and move beyond survival into a life that feels authentic, connected, and fulfilling.

Life can feel overwhelming at times for both, children and adults. You may be noticing changes in mood, increased anxiety, or behaviors that feel difficult to manage. As a parent, you might feel unsure how to best support your child. As an individual, you may feel stuck, drained, or disconnected from yourself. You don't have to face it alone.
I work with children (ages 3 & up), adolescents and adults. I provide a safe, nurturing, and supportive space where clients can express themselves freely and begin to heal. My approach is warm, caring, and supportive. I strive to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood.
