Trauma happens. We rarely can control it; it does not discriminate in who experiences it, and no two individuals experience trauma in the same way. The definition of trauma is not universal. What may be traumatic for one may not be for another. And the path to recovery is as unique as the experience itself. You may not have chosen to experience trauma, but you can choose your path to recovery. You have the power to recover. Trauma does not limit its impact on those who experienced it; it also impacts loved ones. It can take the form of conflict, stress and anxiety, burnout, parenting struggles, or caregiving for a loved one.
Whether neurodivergent or neurotypical, I provide a safe, compassionate, and empathetic space for you to explore ways that work to bring about the change you want. You can build coping skills, increase self-confidence, and resolve conflicts with my support. I have a unique perspective and experience in working with neurodivergent folks and young adults.
Everyone has unique strengths and abilities. Together, we can explore them and identify that path, allowing you to reauthor your life story to one that you choose, one that brings happiness and joy, and that is what you have dreamed life could be.
