Renee Mahin's Groups
Woman's Therapy Group
The group will meet weekly with a maximum of 8 women. It is open ended with a process oriented and mindfulness approach. The goal of the group is to help women effectively deal with relationships, transitions, grief/loss, personal/workplace stress, and codependency issues. Co-led by Regina Brody, LCSW, it is our intention to provide a safe, nurturing environment in which to build trust and to facilitate women at different ages and stages of development to support, encourage and challenge each other in achieving continued growth, self awareness, confidence and compassion.
Skill Group for Adolesents or Children
Depending on referrals/needs this group will focus on developing skills with support of peers in one of the following areas: basic social skills, anger management, cooperation skills,emotional regulation skills, executive functioning skills, academic/study skills. Presenting concerns may include the following: grief/loss/divorce issues, academic or relationship difficulties,lack of self esteem/confidence, depression/anxiety/emotional regulation difficulties, and/or school/family behavioral difficulties Focus/Gender/Age range to be determined based on number of referrals.
