I am a clinical behavioral therapist with a private practice focusing mainly on families. For nearly 30 years, I have enjoyed working with children and using various play techniques to explore the lagging skills which have led to strong responses, behaviors and stressors to your family life. I am shifting my practice to now focus more on helping parents with their children to enable peace and calm in the home. I am also available to adults to work on topics unrelated to parenting. I enjoy exploring individuals stressors and anxieties about life developments.
I worked for 25 years in the child welfare system and have developed specialties in working with foster/adoptive families. I have trained extensively over the years in attachment, play therapy, FASD, and Theraplay. I am well versed in addressing grief, sexual abuse, past trauma, anxiety, difficult behaviors in children, adjustment to life transitions.
