*********ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS********** I am a clinical behavioral therapist with a private practice focusing mainly on children and families. I enjoy working with children and use various play techniques to explore the lagging skills which may have developed strong responses and behaviors to stressors in your child. There are many instances in which I will accept the parent as client to address behaviors in the home. I work with siblings when appropriate and have worked with clients ages 4-adulthood.
I have worked for 25 years in the child welfare system and have developed specialties in working with foster/adoptive families. I have trained extensively over the years in attachment, play therapy, FASD, and Theraplay. I am well versed in addressing grief, divorce of parents, sexual abuse, past trauma, anxiety, or sexualized behaviors in children.
I can help you, your child, and your family in whatever way necessary to bring harmony back into your home. If you are wondering about your child’s behaviors, seeking help to address difficult behaviors in home or school, needing a place to “park” your own emotions, or looking for someone who can help your whole family; please contact my office.
