When emotions run high, it’s not just about stopping meltdowns; it’s about understanding what your child is communicating. I work directly with children and parents to address anger, ADHD, anxiety, trauma, divorce, and grief by building emotional regulation, strengthening connection, and supporting resilience. I help parents move from power struggles to co-regulation with loving and firm boundaries, so families feel safer, calmer, and more confident.

Your child’s big emotions aren’t the problem, they’re signals. Watching them struggle can be exhausting and confusing. I work directly with children to understand what’s beneath their behavior and support parents in responding with safety, connection, and firm boundaries. My goal is to help both you and your child feel more confident and steady.

We will first have a parent intake without the child/teen present. My approach may require individual sessions with your child, individual sessions with the parents for feedback, sessions with the parent and child, and family sessions. With consistent therapy and effort at home, many clients see results within 3-6 months, leading to a possible conclusion of therapy or a maintenance plan.

This is a virtual open parenting group designed to help parents handle their children's difficult behaviors, becoming the parents they want to be, the parents their children need them to be, and the parents they may have needed growing up. I will help provide tools to support your child's healthy development, offer understanding and insight on trauma, attachment, and neurobiology, and encourage reflection on emotional triggers, healthy boundaries, and the importance of having fun together. The goal of this group is to create a supportive community for parents facing similar challenges.
