Illuminating Steps LLC serves individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other Developmental Disabilities who present a variety of needs (intellectual disability, physical disability, challenging behavior, social deficits, communication deficits, etc.). We utilize the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). ABA, at its core, involves an umbrella of teaching methodologies, including incidental teaching, discrete trial training, natural environment teaching, and verbal behavior. Illuminating Steps delivers success step by step.
Illuminating Steps will develop and improve the client's ability to socially interact appropriately with peers using functional language, which fosters the client's ability to access their needs and wants without demonstrating challenging behaviors. The client's assessment drives the instructional method and strategies.
