I am a mental and emotional health advocate who strongly believes that mental/emotional wellness should be promoted and discussed more, especially in Black and Brown communities — we need it. I consider self-care to be the best care and believe the second that we choose to better ourselves, the world around us becomes better too. An uncommon level of strength is tapped into when people can acknowledge that they need help. Distinguishing the problem from the person, I strive to help people walk through the steps necessary to reach their happiest and most influential selves.
I have a passion to help, advise, and inspire others like myself who grew up believing that getting therapy and asking for help only had negative stigmas around them. I encourage people to find their voice and take pride in their individuality.
I specifically enjoy working with youths and young adults (ages 13 to 30) because I believe that the key to unlocking a better future starts with us. Therefore, creating a safe space for my fellow and upcoming generations is of great priority.
