Sometimes you just need someone to talk to. Someone who knows how to ask the right questions and really listen to your answers. I think counseling should be like talking to a really good friend, one who has knowledge of you and the connections which may be at work in your life, and who has permission to confront you and ask you hard questions. I am candid and direct with my clients, pointing out things that need to be looked at, and then helping them process and live out new insights. Integrating faith and values is important to me.
My counseling is interactive and problem solving. I focus on adult issues and transitions such as depression, relationships, integration of faith into life, trauma recovery and grief. I work with individuals and couples. My goal is to help people understand themselves,make good decisions and have better relationships.
I have almost 20 years of experience working with clients in a variety of settings.I am certified in EMDR and the Myers Briggs. I will use my experience and commitment to help you improve your life and relationships.
