We all want to feel better & have thriving relationships, but our life experiences have a direct impact on that. Whether you're an individual with unresolved trauma, a first responder whose job is affecting their personal life, or a couple struggling to communicate or with infidelity, for example. Conflict & residual trauma can cause a loss of connection over time with those we love. And trauma left untreated can cause heightened reactions, like anger or fear, or the opposite - emotional detachment. You may notice feeling sad or irritable, have nightmares, or struggle with trust. The effects are different for each person.
I specialize in Couple's Therapy & diagnosing trauma & treating post-traumatic stress, including the special needs of first responders. I use evidence-based models like The Gottman Method & EMDR & offer Ketamine assisted therapy to help clients save relationships, and heal from the symptoms and emotional distress that result from adverse life experiences.
Starting therapy can be difficult and intimidating, but investing in yourself and your relationships is one of the most life-changing things you can do. I use a person-centered approach to support my clients while gently pushing them toward their goals. We're a team.
