I have been a licensed therapist in Oklahoma for almost 7 years and primarily worked in the community counseling setting. Proceeding my work within a large agency setting I gained more experience working with BetterHelp. Currently, I am working to grow my own practice. Clients who are wanting to be challenged with a compassionate touch are often a good fit with me. During our sessions we may dig deep to find the events in life that are still affecting you negatively. However, we will also be working on increasing healthy behaviors, thoughts, and emotions (e.g. communication/boundaries, coping skills, adaptive positive thinking).
I have experience in helping clients with depression, trauma (from various sources), abuse (physical, emotional, or sexual), parenting issues, self-esteem, career difficulties, and relationship concerns (family, friends, or romantic). I believe in treating everyone with respect, non-judgement, and compassion.
