I'm a trauma informed therapist who is passionate about helping young adults overcome childhood trauma and emotional/psychological abuse. I know what it's like to feel stuck, to second guess yourself, and to struggle with trusting others. Low self-esteem, self-doubt, anxiety, difficult relationships, and trouble expressing/controlling emotions can be overwhelming. Often times, these struggles come with dysfunctional beliefs and negative thinking. You are not alone. Healthy & meaningful relationships are attainable. If you are searching for freedom and ready for healing, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
I use an integrative approach where I tailor therapy to you as you evaluate your needs. We will explore past & present hurts allowing you to understand the reasons behind your current thought patterns & feelings. I teach you how to have self-compassion, how to regulate your nervous system, how to sit in your feelings without judgement, & mindfulness.
It can be intimidating coming in and sharing the most private parts of your life with a stranger. So it's important that we connect. I will be authentic with you and work hard to cultivate a space of warmth & safety. You will be given space free from judgement. Therapy is hard work. But with a little humor and a lot of courage, healing is possible.
