I’m Remington Vandergriff, LCSW, BCD, CCTP, a medically retired U.S. Army Major, owner of Bonafide Therapeutic Alliance, a virtual-only practice serving clients across NM. With 13+ years of experience, I specialize in men’s mental health, Veteran issues, & LCSW supervision. My therapeutic approach is grounded in evidence-based practices. I do not provide couples or family therapy. That said, I believe that true healing comes from a strong therapeutic alliance, not just the treatment model or credentials. My clients often describe feeling at ease, heard, and genuinely understood, which forms the foundation for meaningful change.
When fermenting, be it food or drink, the pressure has to go somewhere. You can have steady release, an airlock, or you can do bursts, burping the jar. If you don't the vessel can eventually crack and burst, affect the flavor, or lead to incomplete fermentation. It's crucially important to let out the pressure.
This isn't about fermentation.
