My work with you may begin at one of the toughest parts of your life’s journey. Sometimes, it can be hard to know where to start; other times, we may cross paths when life's frustrations have become unbearable. It can be difficult to understand what brought us to the situations we find ourselves in. We may find ourselves with more questions, than answers, questioning ourselves, our livelihoods, and our loved ones. But whatever may bring you to therapy, my work with you is to help you become more curious, open, and authentic with yourself and the world around you.
My approach is humanistic by nature, meaning your lived experiences and history will serve as our guides to the work we do together. I work collaboratively with all who sit across from me in my office. I primarily pull from client-centered, strength-based, gender-affirming, and psychodynamic theories to inform my work with you.
I am trained to work with people of various ages, from young to old, and with various backgrounds and identities. I am especially interested in working with marginalized communities, as it can be difficult for some to locate a therapist as a marginalized person. In my off time, I do social justice work to make the world a better place for future generations.
