I’m Michela, a compassionate therapist dedicated to guiding you on your journey toward recovery and emotional well-being by helping you connect with a core sense of Self. Whether you are dealing with the lasting effects of trauma, addiction, or mental health issues, I am here to support you with a safe, non-judgmental space where you can find relief from negative symptoms, rebuild a core sense of self, and begin to live the fulfilling life you deserve.

I help clients feel grounded, safe, and whole by reconnecting with their core sense of Self. Drawing from Polyvagal Theory, EMDR, and Dance/Movement Therapy, I guide clients to understand their nervous system, release negative core beliefs, and embody a deeper sense of self-awareness and strength and learn to feel secure within ourselves.

Therapy is a collaborative relationship where we work together to help you achieve your goals. I will present you with options regarding methods and approaches I can utilize to help you, and ask for your feedback about which approaches feel like a good fit for you. This is your treatment and I want you to feel like you have agency in it.

I often find a strong correlation between anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or addiction. I like to introduce clients to Polyvagal Theory to get a better understanding of the neuroanatomical functions that contribute to these symptoms and introduce ways we can learn to self-regulate in the short term, while also exploring long-term healing options.
