I am a clinical psychologist with 30 years experience helping individuals and couples find relief from depression, anxiety, addiction, OCD and relationship problems. We will use evidence-based approaches that have been scientifically proven to work, developing coping skills and new habits that are easy to learn and apply to everyday life. I believe we are all experts in our own lives and often already possess answers to our problems without realizing it. I work collaboratively to help set specific achievable goals, avoid previously hurtful thoughts and behaviors, and overcome barriers to finding effective solutions.
I am a licensed psychologist in Pennsylvania, have completed Level 3 Gottman Method Couples Therapy Training, and am certified by the American Psychological Association in the Treatment of Alcoholism & Other Substance Use Disorders. I received my Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from University of CT, M.A. in Counseling from NYU, and B.A. from Brown University.
I am co-owner of Main Line Counseling Partners. We utilize evidence based approaches to help individuals, couples, children & families including the Gottman Method, Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectical Behavioral, EMDR, Exposure & Response Inhibition, School Admissions & ADHD Testing, Co-Parenting skills, & intensive, two-day, intensive sessions for couples.
