I am happy to work with clients seeking help for marriage/relationship issues, parenting concerns, adjustment and transition difficulties, depression, anxiety and trauma.
I strongly believe that all people have the ability to live their best life when given the opportunity and the right tools for them. Each journey is just as unique as the individual who embarks on it. The work I do with clients is person centered, motivationally driven, and tailored to meet the needs of each person no matter where they are on their therapeutic journey. Whether this is your first time seeking therapy, or have decided to try again, I would be honored to meet you where you are and guide you toward reaching your personal goals.

There is relationship between the "pieces" and everyone must understand their "role".
I use a holistic approach to treatment emphasizing on rapport building. "There is a reason for all behavior and when it comes to people seeking true wellness, I don't want people to depend on medication." I enjoy helping people change and explore themselves. "The scarecrow, in the movie The Wiz, thought that he did not have a brain. He believed that he was just a sack of old newspapers; but, it took the experience of a "journey" to help him realize that he was not just a sack of newspapers but a wealth of information. "Lets find your wealth!"

30 years of experience working with children, teens, men, women, and families has taught me that the most important thing in life is relationships. It's relationships that help us weather life's storms, and breakdowns in key relationships are usually what lead to a great deal of our distress and turmoil. My help to clients is first and foremost in the form of a positive, affirming relationship, and through that, I have been able to help countless people move toward wholeness and restoration within themselves, and with those that are important to them. I truly look forward to meeting and working with you.

I offer special services to those with relationship difficulties, academic and career difficulties, depression and anxiety, trouble with maintaining weight loss, and individuals and couples struggling with infertility.
I am a Pennsylvania and New York licensed clinical psychologist. I believe that every person is different, bringing with him or her a unique set of difficulties, backgrounds, and strengths to my office. Therefore, I like to take an eclectic approach, meaning that I tailor the treatment specifically to the individual patient's needs. There is no "one size fits all" therapy. Of course this is done collaboratively; anything that is done in therapy is at first discussed, and I never proceed unless the patient agrees with the treatment plan.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
