Often I do this by working with separate sessions with you & your child and combined sessions with you and your child. I have always desired to work in the field of counseling, supporting individuals on their path to understanding their feelings, behaviors, and thoughts in order to make changes and explore solutions. In my work as a pediatric infant mental health specialist and behavioral therapist, I have had opportunity to support diverse needs ranging from challenging behaviors, anxiety, depression, PTSD, domestic violence, relationship issues, and adverse experiences

Over the last 15 years I have had the pleasure of working with children, teens, families, and adults in school, home, community, and office settings. I strive to provide an environment that clients feel safe, supported, and validated. In turn, this will lead to a positive therapeutic relationship in which self-reflection and processing can take place. My goal is for you to recognize your strengths that I see in you and help uncover your hidden potential. I hope to help you, your child, or your family with whatever obstacles or challenges you may be facing.

I have experience in treating individuals that suffer from depression, anxiety, substance abuse and all sorts of other psychological diagnoses. I concentrate on developing a therapeutic relationship and cultivating a safe environment where the clients can share freely. I am a very big fan of emphasizing the strengths and I follow a client-centered approach to counseling. I view therapy as a collaborative process and I am committed to working hard toward achieving therapeutic goals. Transferring what you learn in the therapy session to the outside world step-by-step is also something I strive for.

I have over two decades of experience working within various community mental health settings helping children, adolescents, adults, and families navigate emotional, behavioral, social, and mental health needs. I create a goal-oriented treatment for those experiencing, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, intrapersonal conflict, relationship and communication issues, childhood trauma, stressful events, life transitions, and parenting needs.
