I am a licensed professional counselor with over forty years of experience. My approach is humanistic, in that I believe in the inherent goodness and strength of each individual, and will provide you with compassion, empowerment, support, and an environment that is safe and nonjudgmental. My approach is also cognitive-behavioral, in that when appropriate, I will help you challenge and overcome self-defeating thoughts (i.e. inner critic) and behaviors (i.e. non-assertiveness or avoidance). In their place, you will be able to learn healthier coping strategies and more positive and realistic thinking.

As a Licensed Psychotherapist and Registered Yoga Teacher, I work with a holistic approach focused on one's mind, body and spirit- I help clients navigate issues related to anxiety, depression, trauma, self-esteem, relationship issues, sexual issues, aging, stress and chronic illness.
