As an experience addictions specialist for over 15 years, my goal is to offer guidance to families and individuals who feel lost in a world of addiction. From life coaching, coping skill development, to sharing resources and providing feedback on other issues, (love addiction and substance abuse), I can help you find recovery, peace and serenity. I have recovered from my own addictions, and through coaching I would like impact others in aiding to help change their lives.

For over 38 years, I have been helping couples restore those relationships that have hit a rough patch. Addiction psychology, alcohol and drug counseling is what we do. I am unusual as a director of this practice because I am 1) a psychologist 2) a certified alcohol and drug counselor and 3) I'm over 30 years sober myself but 4) I don't insist that people be sober if they don't want to be or aren't ready. This approach is called, "harm reduction". While we offer counseling for compulsive behaviors like, gambling, internet, computer and gaming addictions, our focus is relationships, depression, anxiety and other mental health & psychological treatment & counseling. We each have specific specialties and practice very similarly.

Dr. Weicker was originally trained as a medical doctor " La Sapienza" University of Rome Italy in 1988. After moving to the United States in 1989, she embarked upon a new career in brain and colon cancer research at RI Hospital- Brown University for 4 years and a Thomas Jefferson for 2 years. Dr. Weicker also has been a College Professor in Anatomy and Physiology Pathophysiology, Nutrition and Herbs and Medicine college courses for 20 years, Penn State, Alvernia University, and Lehigh Carbon Community College. She has since earned a Master's Degree in Health Care from Alvernia University in 2004

We currently are offering virtual client sessions and in person sessions. I believe that every individual has the capacity to develop a full life based on healthy communication and utilizing their strengths. Having a space where you can speak honestly and openly without judgement is crucial to healing. I use a strength based, emotion focused treatment array to help you be the best you can be! I have a passion for working with clients processing trauma. My second passion is couples counseling. I base my couples work on methods from The Couples Institute, which is a worldwide model for extensive couples' therapy.
