Hi there dad's & moms, my name is Julie! I know that things feel difficult right now or you wouldn't be seeking help for your kiddo. I want you to know this is the biggest step! If your child is struggling with issues such as ADHD, anxiety, depression or life itself, I want to help! Empowerment is the foundation of my treatment approach. I can help your child create goals that will allow them to find success in their lives. I know things feel overwhelming right now, but let me help. I use expressive art, play, Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused therapy & Mindfulness as treatment approaches that will help your child heal.
I can help your child by a teaching them many coping strategies that are not cookie-cutter. Every child is different & my goal is to understand how to best help them in their time of need. I will work with them on finding ways to express themselves, build self-esteem, problem solve & find empowerment to be the most successful version of themselves.
Meeting your child at their level is crucial in treatment. I know that's what you want for them more than anything. Learning to Cope with Anxiety
Working with children ages 13 through 16 on anxiety in social situations with peers and adults to find ways to cope and understand how to feel more at ease. We will utilized Expressive Art, Play Therapy, and Solution-Focused modalities to challenge negative self-talk, cognitive distortions and reframe negative thinking patterns.

Adolescent Depression & Anxiety
Beginning Monday April 28th from 6:00pm to 7:00pm a 5 week session for teens ages 13 to 17 suffering from Anxiety and/or Depression being given an opportunity to dialogue with peers about their struggles as well as gain coping strategies to deal with symptoms and daily life. Cost is $25 per session with the option to have a SuperBill for insurance submission.
