Welcome and thank you for your trust and confidence in allowing me, Dr. Megan Seaman, to serve you in the therapeutic relationship that we will form in the areas that are important to you! I have had 19 years of experience counseling clients in a variety of settings, which includes working with individuals, couples, families, and groups. I am trained and qualified to work with most diagnoses and life situations including, but not limited to anxiety and stress, depression, grief and loss, trauma, developmental transitions, gender and sexual identity development, career exploration, feminist and social justice issues, and mindfulness.

Our team of over 20 clinical therapists provides compassionate and holistic mental health care for adults, adolescents, and children. Our approach recognizes the whole person, mind and body. We specialize in the treatment of depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, grief, stress, addiction, and relationship issues. We provide individual psychotherapy, psychiatry, couples and family therapy.

For the past 20 years, I have worked with a variety of individuals and families including children and adults in various life transitions. Part of my foundation in working with these populations is creating a safe and trusting relationship to ensure healing and growth by utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, attachment, complex developmental trauma, executive functioning disorders, and mood disorders. I am trained as a Trust Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) Practitioner.

Our priorities include having a relaxed and calm environment, caring non-judgmental therapists, and meeting the client where they are at and alter our approach based on their needs. As both a licensed professional counselor and marriage and family therapist, I work with individuals, couples, and families dealing with a variety of concerns. My goal is to meet you where you are at, and ensure that your experience in counseling is one that is both safe and comfortable. I want to be able to create a safe space filled with empathy and warmth. Together, in this space we can form a collaborative relationship that will work to access the barriers and patterns that exist as well as identify goals that will foster change and growth.

Currently offering teletherapy/in-person. Clients are met where they are and tackle concerns by utilizing personal strengths and wellness practice. Clients who work with me desire to grow internally, professionally, interpersonally, and physically. I work with concerns ranging from academic/professional issues, transition & self-growth to anxiety, depression, and developmental issues. In addition clients come for couples and family concerns and always receive affirmative, culturally-responsive counseling. LGBTQ+, BIPOC, and others marginalized by society are affirmed, celebrated, and honored on their journey toward liberation.
