Our time together in session is a thoughtful and collaborative process where we work towards building trust in a safe and non-judgmental environment, regardless of race, gender, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or background. My primary objective as a marriage and family therapist is to give you the tools you need to move forward in your life. I have personal and professional experience with individuals, couples, children, adolescents, and families living with chronic pain, anxiety, depression, personality disorders, PTSD, ADHD, divorce, infidelity, and OCD.

My goal for the counseling relationship is to create a safe environment while offering support to clients struggling with feeling alone, misunderstood, or lost. I show up for clients with an open mind and an opportunity to share their thoughts, express their feelings, and explore their experiences. Everyone deserves the opportunity to speak their truth and be heard and affirmed in return.

I have been in practice for over 5 years helping individuals, couples and families create the relationships and lives they want. When you feel lost in the unrelenting cycles of fights and betrayals, you question how your life and relationship became this. I’ve been there, mental health and substance abuse issues impact not only the person but also the loved ones surrounding them. I have helped many rediscover who they are and reconnect with one another on a deeper level. I have specialized knowledge and clinical skill-sets working with individuals experiencing challenges associated with anxiety, attention-deficits, depression, trauma, relationships, assertiveness/conflict management, and mood disorders. I apply Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and a strengths-based approach to empower others to reach their therapeutic goals and find their voice.

My clients are people who have had an emotional injury of some sort. They come with psychological pain seeking relief from the stress, anxiety, and depression it brings. They want the emotional pain to stop.
