As a therapist I first begin by meeting my clients where they are. My second aim is to understand the client as a whole and not just their diagnosis/issue. I don't focus on the diagnoses/issues, i like to assist my clients in being the best version of themselves. I believe that everyone is an individual, even in sharing the same diagnosis or life issues, I strive to treat every client as an individual when treating. It sometimes can be challenging to find a therapist you trust as well as connect with. I strive to always keep an open mind as well as show empathy.
My background includes working with children in crisis, mental disabilities as well as addiction counseling. I have used numerous techniques when treating such as CBT, stress management and crisis interventions.
I work with clients to find the best version of themselves while supporting them every step of the way. I am very hands on and strive to develop a trusting and caring therapeutic relationship with all my clients.
