I am currently not accepting new clients, please check back in August/2024. The motives for someone seeking therapy are as unique as the person seeking therapy. Some people desire to process past unresolved issues. Sometimes, people feel like they repeat patterns or are stuck in a situation and don't know how to do something different. Therapy can help a person process troubling and traumatic events that occurred in the past. Counseling can help a person cope with recent upsetting events, such as the death of a loved one, or a sudden transition/loss, such as a relationship breakup.
I predominantly provide Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS). My approach is to partner with clients, helping them unburden themselves from extreme beliefs, troubling thoughts, and intense emotions to help them move through life with greater ease and grace.
I serve children, adolescents, and adults, addressing various problems, including life transitions, the impacts of trauma, grief, school problems, depression & anxiety, and beyond. I predominantly use Internal Family Systems Therapy but also other modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy, family systems therapy, sand tray, and play therapy.
