The word "kairos" comes the Greek word meaning, "the opportune and decisive moment for change." I will support you through the counseling process while you search for continued joy and wellness in your life. Child and adolescent services are available to focus in on difficult attitudes, home or school behavior problems, parental divorce or separation issues. Adult counseling is needed to help in difficult life transitions, which may cause anxiety or depression. Couple counseling is available to help develop the necessary communication skills to enhance the relationship. Couples may have reached an impass due to the developmental stages of marriage.

As a clinician I provide psychotherapy for anxiety, depression, acculturation and immigration issues, bereavement, relationship conflicts, eating disorders, body image concerns and various other personal conflicts.
Individuals are unique and view the world in relation to their personal experience. Hence, treatment must be tailored to individual goals and needs. We are the authors of our lives. Along our journey, we add chapters to our life's narrative. All individuals face struggle and uncertainty in life that affects their health. Although we are unable to erase the past we can recreate our story by evaluating experiences and changing our perceptions. Consequently, we can author additional chapters to our life's narrative.

The most important thing is establishing a trusting relationship so the therapeutic process can go smoothly.
Life can be hard, whether it’s navigating through depression, anxiety, marital issues, or problems with children. There is such a negative stereotype associated with receiving mental health treatment but I’m here to let you know that mental health matters! As a clinical therapist, I believe that everyone is entitled to exceptional mental health treatment. And although my personal roots are based in Christianity, I am willing and able to help you regardless of your religious beliefs.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
