Clients find relief from anxiety, obsessive thinking, compulsive behavior, interpersonal stress, career concerns and "feeling stuck." I can help you to effectively navigate stressful transitions. Specialties include trauma, PTSD and C-PTSD, stress, attachment, couple/partner interaction/communication, family-of-origin issues (including substance abuse-related), and work challenges.
Approaches include: Internal Family Systems (IFS-Informed therapist, IFSCA). EMDR, Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDRIA certified therapist). Neurofeedback. Brainspotting. Attachment. Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy, Mindfulness Based Relationship Enhancement. Mind/body clinic experience with chronic illness, grief/loss.
I have worked with college students, faculty, and staff since 2004. Expertise in family/couples dynamics, recovery and codependency/prodependency, workplace challenges and conflict resolution (mediator, ombuds).
