I am a trained ART Therapist. Accelerated Resolution Therapy is a form of psychotherapy with roots in existing evidence-based therapies. Which has shown to achieve benefits much more rapidly usually within few sessions? Clients with depression, anxiety, panic attacks, (PTSD) substance abuse, sexual abuse and many other physical conditions. My ideal client is one who is striving to make a change. In order for this to occur, there must be cooperation and mutual respect between all parties. I will also work with those who are unable to express their feelings & thoughts and who have built these up due to the stigma regarding mental health.

Stress and trauma patterns often represent themselves as disruptive, repetitive cycles of thoughts, emotions, and/or relational behaviors that an individual endures, These cycles may look like a thought loop that keeps you awake at night or prevents you from engaging socially. Perhaps it is instead, or also, a rush of overwhelming emotion (sadness, anger) at a social encounter that seems like it should not have carried that much weight. These patterns may also be experienced as repeating dynamics in friendships or partnerships (for example, "I keep dating people who do not seem to see my needs in the relational space").

My intention as a therapist is to empower individuals be in tune with their deepest truths and to relate to life in a more authentic way. By providing a warm environment, I hope my clients feel safe to express what matters to them. My therapeutic approach is strongly influenced by more than 12 years of a dedicated meditation practice. I utilize mindfulness and somatic approaches in supporting people to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. In doing so, I trust that our ability to welcome our experience creates possibilities for healing and ultimately to cultivate a "life worth living."
