Our journey begins by identifying and utilizing your strengths as building blocks for change. My goal is to help you embrace and work through your struggle, be it mood/emotion, anxiety, relationship issues, grief/loss, or simply identifying and cultivating a deeper happiness in life.

Kristian received her Bachelor's degree at the University of North Florida followed by her Masters at Webster University. She engages others by building a rapport while also assisting her families to achieve set goals. She works with individuals ages 5-100, families, adolescents, drug addiction and parents who need guidance. Some specialty skills include problem-solving, communication, coping skills, and relaxation exercises for anxiety. Kristian focuses on the improvement, the quality of life of individuals and families by compassionately serving their mental health, addiction, special education, and community support needs.

I have been described by colleagues is a champion for the holistic well-being of my clients. I am an Operations Enduring Freedom and Operation Iraqi Freedom Veteran, serving as a Healthcare Specialist/Combat Medic and Medical Section Sergeant. In addition to personal experience and passion, I have further developed expertise in the treatment of trauma and First Responders and Veterans as a Certified Psychological First Aid Provider by the National Center for Traumatic Stress. I work with a wide range of conditions with individuals 18 years of age and older.

I became a Marriage and Family Therapist because I enjoy processing with individuals and listening to personal journeys to find a resolution. I was a High School performance art major and find this skill set benefical in providing supports through visual cues using various therapeutic approaches and modalities. I specialize in working with children and families in child welfare. I enjoy working with young children and teens as these are challenging developmental years, trauma and distress from systemic and familial patterns of behaviors, coupled with low parenting, coping, decision-making and problem-solving skills.

I see all my clients as products of their life experiences, the families they come from and the world they live in. Everyone has a story of change yet to be written
