Ready to make a change but not sure how to get started? Many of us are struggling with anxiety, sleep issues, feeling unmotivated and stuck. I will act as your guide in self discovery and encourage you to identify patterns of thoughts and behaviors that are holding you back. We will draw on your strengths and choose the direction you want to take in resolving personal, career and relationship challenges. We all want to be loved and valued in our relationships, but struggle at times with communication, intimacy, self esteem, or conflict. Disappointment and resentment build and our feelings about our partner change.

Expect me to put our therapeutic relationship first, but still nudge you to slow down and sit with the things that you like to brush past.
Sick of feeling stuck? Let's move you forward. Are you smart, educated, and goal-oriented, yet find yourself suffering? Perhaps you are wondering how to move past that same damn argument with your partner. Perhaps you find that when everything is going well, you self-sabotage. Perhaps you're having some trouble forgiving yourself for past mistakes or parenting missteps. It's time to live life the way YOU want, purge the shame of not being "enough", and start having more joy in your life. My style is relaxed and non-traditional. Expect to laugh and look forward to therapy, and also make progress that you can be proud of!

Life brings many challenges and hardships. You may be burdened by insecurities, fears, anger, or resentment. Relationships or work may be unsatisfying. Most likely you have tried to feel better on your own; some things may have helped, but not always fully or lasting. The source of some problems can be identified, while other problems are vague and unclear. In the end, you come with your own set of difficulties and life circumstances. I believe psychotherapy enhances our natural tendency to understand ourselves as we strive to realize our hopes and aspirations.

Daily avoidance, endless phone scrolling, and chronic anxiety can leave anyone feeling disconnected and frustrated. Together we can explore the root of these challenges and develop coping skills, resilience, and a deepened understanding of self. I tailor my approach to folks unique goals and don't believe in a one-size-fits-all treatment.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
