I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Certified Sex Therapist. I trained at the University of Pennsylvania and have been in practice for over 35 years specializing in both individual and couples therapy. I treat anxiety disorders, depression, relationship problems (including difficulties with communication and sexual functioning), body image issues, the challenges of life transitions (divorce, death of a loved one, relocation, retirement, health problems), as well as gay, lesbian, and gender identity issues.

I have always had a passion for healing and helping. I meet clients where they are. Clients who desire relational change and growth request my assistance. Most couples come to marriage counseling in the final state of marital dissatisfaction. Chad Spencer has over 20 years of experience working with various populations in diverse settings. His clinical work includes experience in areas related to; Mood disorders, Psychotic Disorders, Substance Dependence/Abuse, and recovery from symptoms related to various types of Trauma. Chad has also worked extensively with clients in the LGBTQI community, addressing the challenges those in this community often encounter.
