I work with individuals, couples, families and children, and believe that the relationship with the therapist is the single most important factor to a positive outcome in therapy.
I offer professional service, in a beautiful and calming environment for a fair rate. I've found that creating a supportive, safe and nurturing environment is essential to inspiring growth and I truly enjoy working with my clients on whatever troubles they are facing.

I specialize in working with young adults who deal with self esteem, mood, and relationship issues.
In working with adolescents and young adults, I often see them struggle with unconscious pattern behaviors that relate to early experience. The unspoken or unprocessed trauma or negative experience can affect people for years. My role in therapy is to support clients in raising awareness of their feelings, thoughts, and needs, which can help them make healthier decisions and achieve self-actualization.

Whether you’re struggling with relationship, parenting or family woes, life cycle transitions, trauma, depression or anxiety, I’m confident we can work together to help you face and overcome these challenges so you are free and empowered to design a life you want to live.
You look put together, present yourself well, but are privately struggling. Your problems may not be immediately apparent to others, but internally you have a hard time with accepting yourself, being present in your life, and with finding joy. You work hard and are constantly juggling an array of tasks, but your relationships are sluggish and you feel overwhelmed and disconnected. You may be struggling with parenting and wonder why your intimate relationships, or the lack thereof, are so damn hard. You do not feel content and question whether you're good enough to do life well.

I work with adults, adolescents and couples with varying challenges including relationship issues, depression, anxiety, eating disorders, substance abuse, parenting issues, and sexuality issues.
You may have asked yourself, "Why do I keep making the same mistakes again and again?" By looking at both your present state and personal history, we can find out together. We will work to bring the unconscious into the conscious mind to help you get out of your own way, and get the things that you want and deserve. I will support you through that journey in a safe environment. I can help you find your own voice and learn to use it.

It takes a lot of courage to seek therapy. You're at a crossroads. And you feel stuck. Perhaps you’re seeking relief from anxiety, depression, or addiction. Maybe you’re tired of living with shame about your sexuality or relationship needs. Maybe you’ve noticed that you keep repeating the same unproductive patterns in relationships or at work. Perhaps you’re feeling lost- unsure of who you really are and what you want in life. These are issues we can untangle and begin to understand in our work together.

Do you struggle with feelings of anxiety, depression, guilt or low self-esteem? Do you find yourself avoiding social engagements or so preoccupied with excessive worrying? Finding ways to navigate these difficult feelings can help you get back on track. I use a psychodynamic approach and CBT that focuses on uncovering patterns of behavior and ways of relating to ourselves and others that are often outside of our awareness. I also consider how our past impacts who we are today. Through acceptance and empathy, we will establish a trusting therapeutic relationship and work together toward your personal growth and self-discovery.

My hopes for you are to deepen the quality of your life and your relationship with others.
Therapy is a deeply personal, multifaceted journey inward in an already complex world. To those who choose to venture down this road, the process can leave one feeling emotional and vulnerable, but it will also be healing, enlightening and enriching. Taking steps down this path is a virtuous act and I am here to honor you and your process. Together we will gently explore what may be causing you pain. Healing is at the heart of my practice - what you will experience with me is empathy, non-judgmental compassion, and authenticity. My therapeutic style is warm, energetic and engaged.

I also work with clients with relationship issues to overcome marital conflict, divorce, separation, co-parenting and adult children issues.
It is daunting to decide to see a therapist, especially if you are not familiar with clinical treatment. Sometimes you need help uncovering thoughts and feelings regarding concerning matters. Are you so anxious, depressed, and angry that you feel overwhelmed? Or do you want to be a more social, confident, and positive individual? Each client is unique. The ultimate goal of therapy is to allow a client to learn about themselves in order to be more proactive and live the fullest life possible.

These relationships may include those with caregivers in childhood, romantic partners and friends in adulthood, and the all-important relationship you have with yourself.
Life can be difficult to navigate. We accumulate invisible scars and wounds over time. Balancing your personal needs with the expectations of others, while essential to developing healthy relationships, can make you feel lost and without direction. You shouldn't walk that path alone. Psychotherapy can help you understand your place in the world and how to be in relationships with others without losing yourself.

I specialize in dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, substance abuse, infertility, eating disorders, and grief and loss.
As a therapist, it is my sole intention to assist you in nurturing your own unique insight. When I'm in conversation with my clients, we work together to name and understand the issues that trouble them. I assist them in confronting the barriers to a more enjoyable life, and together we discover what needs to change, or what can be more peacefully accepted. I am primarily a "talk" therapist. My clients have described me as "down to earth" and "personable." I also use Cognitive Behavioral techniques in order to change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior.

Starting a new relationship is a big step. And one of the most important steps in therapy is finding a therapist to build connection and space for healing. I aim to co-create an attuned, safe, and collaborative relationship. Where we go in your therapeutic journey centers around your goals and individuality. Together, we can explore problem narratives, relationship patterns, oppressions that may impact you, and mind-body connection with warmth, curiosity, and compassion. I hope to accompany you through the (re)discovery of your inherent resilience to pursue growth that enables you to live authentically and explore new possibilities.

My goal is to co-create a collaborative, trusting relationship so that together, we can identify what is most important and necessary for you.
Therapy can be a dynamic, interactive process of deepening your connection with yourself and others, exploring your identity, and redefining your life’s purpose. I am committed to supporting people who have decided to look inward, which can be a fascinating, challenging, and rewarding ongoing experience. I work with individuals and couples as they navigate transitions, consider life choices, search for meaning, process relational trauma, and learn to communicate more deeply. Many of my clients identify as highly sensitive and/or are impacted by neurodiversity (ND individuals, ND/NT couples, and parents of ND kids/teens).

Nurturing, nonjudgmental understanding, respect and honesty are at the heart of the therapeutic relationship I hope to develop with you. I believe that these deepest principles are the root of healing and recovery. The therapeutic relationship is where and how this takes place. When we address it in the here and now, then it most often generalizes to the present and future of your life. The foundation of my private practice lies in fostering this experience.

Relationship Issues Therapists
While need for human connection appears to be innate, the ability to form healthy, loving relationships is learned. Some evidence suggests that the ability to form a stable relationship starts to form in infancy, in a child's earliest experiences with a caregiver who reliably meets the infant's needs for food, care, warmth, protection, stimulation, and social contact. Such relationships are not destiny, but they are theorized to establish deeply ingrained patterns of relating to others. The end of a relationship, however, is often a source of great psychological anguish.
