Living life on life's terms can be challenging. If you are overwhelmed by stress, find yourself repeating dysfunctional patterns in your personal life, reliving past hurts or experiencing difficulty navigating life transitions, therapy can provide relief. Relationship problems, anxiety, depression, and physical ailments are all common symptoms signaling that it may be time to address possible underlying issues which can cause emotional and mental pain. The experience of psychotherapy should be illuminating, validating and empowering. Choosing the right therapist is key.
I strive to create an open, respectful and safe environment where my clients can address sensitive issues and experience insight, growth and change. Relief from distress and increased self esteem and self confidence are the goals. People are unique in their perceptions and experiences, and my approach is tailored to the specific needs of the individual.
I have 30 years of experience working with individuals and couples at various stages in the life cycle. I have served as adjunct faculty at Phillips Graduate Institute in Chatsworth, California training students in the field of family therapy. I challenge my own growth as a clinician and participate in ongoing professional development and training.
