My particular interests and specialties tend to fall within women’s issues, trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, addiction and relationship Issues. The belief that everyone deserves access to quality mental health care and a chance to be the best version of themselves informs every element of my work.

In the past thirty years of practice, I've come to deeply understand that all therapy is, in a sense, grief therapy. I began working as a volunteer with Hospice, and although I am trained and practiced in trauma and developmental techniques, I specialize my work with grief and loss. I help my clients walk through the profoundly life-changing territory of losses that can seem impossible to accept and heal from. Because we live in a culture that makes little room for it, I create a place and time for people to unpack their losses and, with time, grow into acceptance. Please let me know if I can help.

As an AASECT-certified sex therapist, I've dedicated my career to providing expert knowledge and compassionate guidance to individuals and couples struggling with aspects of their sexuality, including shame, trauma, physical pain, and loss. The people I work with courageously seek to find greater connection with their pleasure, desire, and a sense of ease and comfort in their bodies.
