Located in Newtown & Buckingham PA, Bucks LGBTQ Center is an affirming, safe space for members of the LGBTQ+ community and their families. We provide Masters and Doctoral level therapeutic support, professional educational trainings, and community events. Many of our providers have lived experience in the queer community in addition to extensive clinical training. Our providers specialize in working with transgender and gender expansive clients. We follow WPATH standards of care.
We provide services for those within the LGBTQ+ community seeking guidance on many different issues, as well as those who are seeking connection to others with this community. We offer understanding and support around the intersection of identities contributing to the uniqueness of our clients.
We are a multi-disciplinary treatment team with experience in: trauma, eating disorders, body dysmorphia, self-harm, trauma, bullying, addiction, suicide assessment and mood disorders. We utilize evidence-based practices to best serve LGBTQ+ clients in these and other clinical areas.
