Hi! My name is Erin and I am glad you are here. I have been a therapist since 2013 and I love working with clients from all walks of life. I have had the privilege of counseling hundreds of clients throughout the years with mental health issues including anxiety, depression, perfectionism, OCD, PTSD, etc. I believe therapy can provide hope and healing and my goal is to make the process as safe and seamless as possible. I often see clients who are dealing with trauma, substance use, anxiety, or depression. I work to build a space of non-judgment and acceptance so my clients can be seen exactly as they are without fear, so we can find the path forward together.

I work with individuals with a wide range of concerns. My clinical specialties and interests include disordered eating, body image, obesity and weight loss, LGBTQ, gender identity, phase of life transitions, grief/loss, relationships, assertive communication, issues related to trauma/adverse life experiences, holistic health and wellness, self-compassion, and promoting self-awareness and insight. My background includes significant experience in the delivery of behavioral health care including individual psychotherapy and inpatient, intensive-outpatient, and outpatient groups. In addition to my experience with psychotherapy services, I also complete psychological assessments, provide supervision to pre-doctoral psychology interns, and consultation services.

My commitment as a therapist is to provide my clients with a compassionate environment that offers unconditional acceptance and support. Each client is seen as a unique individual. I believe that counseling promotes growth by building on existing strengths. Each client is guided through a process that allows for the enhancement of self-enpowerment and discovery.

I enjoy working with clients of all ages and genders. Most of my early experience is with children, adolescents, and families. However, I have been working with adults on individual and couples issues for many years. I also have a lot of experience working with clients on addictions especially drugs and alcohol issues. I work will with clients that have anxiety, depression, and behavioral issues. This includes ADHD and oppositional behaviors.

I see clients for individual therapy and psychological evaluations. My approach is individualized and based on my clients' needs, personal background, and goals. My therapy approach utilizes cognitive-behavioral, interpersonal, & existential modalities, adapted specifically for my clients. I also incorporate positive psychology elements by being person-centered, non-judgmental, & utilizing strengths in developing goals & a plan for treatment. My clients can expect to gain insight into the nature of their difficulties, with an individualized plan for progress and improved functioning.

Unfortunately, everyone experiences painful events at times in their life. Helping people to rebuild their lives back to what it was before or building a whole new life is something I have enjoyed doing for over 20 years. I enjoy working with people by addressing a variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, substance use and other addictions, various types of trauma, relationships, divorce, unresolved grief, co-dependency, and anger management to name a few. I accept most insurance plans including Medicaid. A reduced fee is available for clients without insurance on a limited basis. Telehealth services are also available.
