I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and began practicing in 2003. I have experience in working with various populations and age ranges.

I firmly believe that only you can give yourself permission to live the life you desire. I work alongside you to restructure negative thoughts and behaviors in effort to increase confidence, self-awareness, and control over one's own life. Growing up watching my grandmother struggle daily with mental illness, I naturally grew to have a heart for helping other people. I have spent the last decade of my life in the helping community and I believe that it is my life’s purpose to help people actualize the life they wish to have. I explain my position as a therapist by saying this to my clients, “It’s not my job to fix you because you are not broken. It’s my job to help you see things in a different way that will help you to function better” I welcome you as clients to embark on this journey of healing. I hold a PLPC and am a Certified Trauma Professional. I graduated from NSU in 2008 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology with a concentration in Addictive Studies. I also attended University of Louisiana at Monroe and graduated in 2014 with a Master's of Science Degree in Clinical Mental Health. I completed over 3000 hours post graduate in inpatient psychiatric care of the elderly as well as Multi Systemic Therapy in the community and outpatient mental health rehabilitation.
