I am passionate about helping children and adults who come from hard places to find hope and healing, including those with PTSD, anxiety, and attachment problems. My desire is for my clients to experience a genuine, compassionate, and well-equipped psychologist to guide them toward their goals. I strive to help my clients learn, grow, and heal so they can flourish. I tailor my approach to each individual's and family's strengths and needs, pulling from several evidence-based practices, teaching and coaching concrete skills, and focusing on reflection and relational patterns. I have clinical expertise in the treatment of trauma both in children and adults, including those with histories of abuse, neglect, and other forms of interpersonal trauma. I love working with parents who themselves have come from hard places or with histories of loss who are struggling to find their way in parenting, to move from surviving to thriving. I am passionate about helping family members connect and overcome what has divided them. I have specialized training in helping foster and adoptive families. Additionally, I treat young children who are struggling with behavioral problems at home and school.

It's difficult to choose a therapist off of a list so I hope it will provide some confidence knowing that I have been in private practice in Orange County for over 30 years. I specialize in relationship issues with couples, with various women's issues and in treating children. I have had great success with a specific journaling technique that I have developed and am confident that I can help you with whatever challenges you are currently experiencing.
