I utilize CBT and Narrative Therapy. The reason for this is because Albert Ellis was influenced by philosophy; specifically, he was inspired by Epictetus and Marcus Aurelius, who are significant inspirations when it comes to my own approach and psychological growth. I want to embody the concept that Albert Ellis states: "Changing one’s internal philosophy is the key to psychological growth and change." I have been a therapist for over a year, starting May 2024.
I have planned and provided direct therapeutic and psychoeducational services to 15 clients at a time, ranging from individual to couples clients and formulated over 20 treatment plans with specific, client-centered goals and objectives utilizing researched and tested psychological methods and techniques from CBT and Narrative Therapy.
Helping people was always the plan. I am a therapist utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy to empower clients and provide a renewed sense of hope and purpose.
