As a Latinx single mother, embracing and embodying Hispanic culture is a core value of mine. Having raised my children without the presence of a second parent, I have experienced juggling work and parenting. While balancing my life I have maintained my identity, sense of self, and overall well-being.
I am trained in EMDR, Brainspotting, and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). I am particularly well-trained to support people whose previous life experiences are continuing to impact their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
In addition, my training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness allows me to effectively provide treatment to people living with anxiety and depression. When working with people facing relationship issues, I incorporate Gottman and Imago's methods. I am a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT number 132324).
